ABOUT MISSING IN TIME

Sally's struggling to survive. She’s fallen into another time, another place, and only a forbidden friendship with Adrian Merryweather, a young footman, is helping her cope with the harsh life of a servant she’s tumbled into. 

Why has this happened to her? And will she ever get back to her own time now that she knows the dangers ahead?

Sally’s a film fan so there are dozens of hidden and not-so-hidden movie references in Missing in Time. Here's a couple . . .

“... all cobwebby like Miss Havisham.” 
That’s a reference to Great Expectations.

“And like Dorothy my world turns to color.” 
That’s a reference to The Wizard of Oz. Sally opens a door and all the dismal brown colors of the servants’ quarters in Brumpton Manor turn to rich vibrant ones of the family's quarters upstairs. In The Wizard of Oz movie, when Dorothy leaves Kansas, her world turns from sepia to color.
